Love for the Lodge

"My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Loon Lodge for one of our family vacations. The cottage was very quaint and provided ample space for the four of us. We appreciated how secluded the cottage was. We felt as if we were the only ones around. The kids enjoyed the kayaks while my wife and I enjoyed relaxing on the patio. We also enjoyed use of the grill which enabled us to cook our dinners onsite. This saved us money for sure. The location of Loon Lodge enabled us to take several day trips to some of northern Michigan's great tourist attractions. Our overall experience was very positive and we look forward to spending more vacations at Loon Lodge."

"I've stayed at this cabin a few times in the spring and fall, and it's always been a great time. The place is big, sleeps eight comfortably, and is just a two-minute walk to the lake and private dock. The water is incredibly clear—I've swam across the lake in the quiet morning no-wake time. The property itself is peaceful and has plenty of space for bocce ball, frisbee, etc. There’s also a lot to do in the area. I’ve played pickleball at the nearby community center, kayaked on the Au Sable River, rode the DNR trails on a 4-wheeler, and dined at Grayling’s restaurants. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to outdoor fun, this place is a good fit. Book it!"

"We had the pleasure of staying at the cottage. The peace and quiet serenity of this place was amazing. Definitely the “up north” feel. The house has a cool floor plan with bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. The main living room has a wood burning stove and creates a warm cozy environment for our family game nights and movies. The lake and dock are fun for swimming and fishing. Shallow area along the bank makes it nice for younger kids. Would definitely visit again! "

"We had an amazing time at this cabin — it was exactly what we were looking for and more. There were plenty of beds and tons of space, whether we were all hanging out watching the game, playing cards, or just finding a quiet corner to unwind. The setting was absolutely beautiful — right on a peaceful lake, surrounded by forest, with access to some really fun off-roading trails nearby. The cabin itself was super comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax and recharge. Whether you're looking to reflect by the water, kick back by the fire, or just enjoy a weekend of fun and connection, this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommended!"
